Vegan

Scrambled tofu toasts

Ingredients

Scrambled tofu:
  • 2 blocks of plain tofu (250g)
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of namak salt (or normal salt)
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of yellow curry powder
  • ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 30 cl of Sojade Cream Alternative
  • 2 finely chopped shallots
Topping and side dish:
  • 2 slices of bread
  • olive oil
  • 1 sliced avocado
  • Seeds of your choice
  • Fresh chives
  • Sun-dried tomatoes
  • Chili spices

Preparation steps

Crumble the tofu into a bowl.

Add the chopped garlic cloves, salt, turmeric, curry powder, smoked paprika, pepper and Sojade cream alternative. Mix well and set aside.

Brown the chopped shallots in a hot, oiled pan. Add the tofu. Fry for a few minutes over a low heat.

Brown the slices of bread in a hot frying pan. Add some olive oil. Cook for a few minutes on each side.

Arrange the toast, starting with the scrambled tofu. Then add the avocado slices, sun-dried tomatoes, chopped fresh chives, a few seeds and chilli spices.

Serve the scrambled tofu toasts warm or cold.
